Q: What is included in the tour?
A: Your itinerary will list everything that is included and not included in a given tour.
Q: What do I need to take a tour?
A: You must be 21 years of age with a valid ID. California regulations state that you must be 21 years of age to possess, use or consume cannabis. Because we allow our customers to possess and use cannabis, you must be 21 years of age and in possession of a legal form of identification (drivers license, passport or visa) at all times.
Q: Can I come on one of your tours if I am not 21 years old?
A: No, due to California regulations.
Q: Why do I need to carry my ID at all times?
A: You need a legal form of identification to comply with California regulations.
Q: Where do we meet for the tour?
A: Each tour has its own departure time and location. These will be listed on the itinerary as well as in a tour confirmation email.
Q: Are food and drinks provided during the tour?
A: Some snacks and water will be provided on the bus. Please refer to your itinerary to see what meals may be included.
Q: What should I wear?
A: Bay Area weather is temperate, but can change quickly. Bringing several layers is the local custom. Other than that, just dress comfortably.
Q: Do I need extra spending money?
A: Yes. You should have money to tip you guide and driver as well as anything not included in your chosen itinerary.
Q: Do I need to use cannabis to go on one of your tours?
A: No you do not need to use cannabis to enjoy any of our tours. Our tours are designed with adventure in mind and cannabis consumption is up to the individual.
Q: Can I purchase cannabis on the tour?
A: Absolutely! All our tours will provide opportunities to purchase cannabis as long as you stay within California’s legal possession laws. Currently persons 21 and older can possess one ounce of flower and 5 grams of concentrate.
Q: Can I smoke cannabis on the bus?
A: Cannabis consumption on the bus, in a car, boat or aircraft is prohibited in the state of California with the exception of certain party busses. Check itinerary details or ask for availability.
Q: Can I consume cannabis anywhere on the tour?
A: No, it is illegal to consume cannabis in the state except at designated locations. We provide safe opportunities to consume during all of our tours.
Q: Can I consume cannabis prior to river rafting or other risk activities you offer?
A: No. Your fun and safety is our number one priority, therefore we do not allow consumption of cannabis or alcohol in any form prior to risk activities. There will be opportunities following these activities to safely consume.
Q: Can I bring my own cannabis on the tour?
A: Yes, as long as it’s within what’s allowed for personal use (currently one ounce per person).
Q: Will safe storage be provided for my cannabis if we go to an area where cannabis is prohibited, such as a national or state park?
A: Yes, we will provide safe storage for your cannabis outside of restricted parklands.
Q: Can I book a private tour?
A: Definitely! We can accommodate groups as small as 4 or as large as 24. Just let one of our travel experts help you make it happen.
Q: Can you create a custom tour for my group?
A: Sure. Assuming your desired stops can accommodate a group of your size, we can create the perfect adventure for your group. Our local travel experts would love to assist you in designing a custom itinerary for your group.
Q: Can you create a team-building escape for my group or company?
A: Yes…our tours are uniquely suited to facilitating dialog and strengthening relationships.
Q: I’m subject to drug tests at my job. How long does cannabis stay in my system?
A: If it’s a saliva test, THC normally is untraceable after a day or two. If it’s a blood or urine test, depending on the potency and frequency of use, one can test positive as long as two or three months after use. If your job depends on passing a urine test, you may have to wait until your employer has more enlightened policies regarding cannabis use.
Q: Are your tours handicap accessible?
A: The tours that don’t involve risk activities are handicap accessible. Please contact one of our tour experts for details.
Q: What types of vehicles do you use?
A: Through our contracted vendors we have access to everything from SUVs for 4 or 6 people to Sprinter vans, limo busses, party busses and large motor coaches for large groups. We can accommodate any size group in comfort and luxury.
Q: How far in advance should I book my tour?
A: We recommend booking your tour as soon as possible. Depending on the time of year many of our tours sell out quickly. If you are concerned about availability call in advance to ensure a reservation.
Q: Can tickets be transferred to another person?
A: Yes. In most cases tickets can be transferred to another person up to 48 hours prior to the start of a tour. There may be additional charges applied to transfer tickets due to changes in accommodations or special requests from the transferee. If you need to transfer a ticket please contact us as soon as possible so we can expedite your request.
